Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area
Moorestown Township, NJ
TDG completed design, construction documents, bid specifications, construction oversight, and contract administration of the Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area in Moorestown Township of the Burlington County Department of Resource Conservation. TDG was the lead consultant of a team including engineers, architects, and naturalists.
The site features about 1.3 miles of wide, mostly level trails, many of which cross boardwalks and lead to observation platforms and bird blinds—ideal spots to gaze at waterfowl, jumping fish, basking turtles, and migrating songbirds. Educational amenities include interpretive signage on native trees, a butterfly and hummingbird garden around the stone pavilion and pond, and even a “human sundial” sculpture near the parking area.
Visitors can find restrooms, drinking fountains, picnic tables, and a small shaded pavilion—making this park family‑friendly and accessible (even stroller‑friendly). With over 30 resident bird species and many more seasonal migrants, plus mammals, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, and moths, the reserve offers rich biodiversity in a peaceful, easily navigable setting.
