The Armacost Park Pollinator Habitat is a vibrant ecological landscape dedicated to supporting native pollinators and enhancing local biodiversity. The project transforms a previously underutilized space into a thriving habitat featuring diverse native plant communities, seasonal color, and essential forage and shelter for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial species.
Designed with long-term ecological health in mind, the habitat includes thoughtfully placed seating and educational signage that help visitors learn about the role of native plants and pollinators within Avalon’s coastal environment. The result is a sustainable, community-focused landscape that enhances local ecology while offering a beautiful, nature-forward space for residents and visitors to enjoy.
