Mr. Taylor has published professional articles and has presented professional lectures on park design at the NJ Recreation and Park Association's Annual Conference.
Prior to co-founding Taylor Design Group, Inc., Mr. Taylor was the Director of Municipal Services at Melillo & Bauer Associates, Landscape Architects of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ from 1997-2001. He was also the Director of Planning and Landscape Architecture, and an Associate at Lord, Anderson Worrell & Barnett of Burlington, NJ from 1989-1997.
Mr. Taylor received a BS in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University in 1989.
Michelle Taylor, PP, AICP - Vice President
Ms. Taylor is a professional planner who has been working in both the public and private sectors since 1990. Within the firm, Ms. Taylor concentrates on land use planning, redevelopment planning, infill development, ordinance preparation, design guidelines, and form based codes. She is experienced in the implementation of place based architecture, community building, and affordable housing. She has represented the firm in Ocean City, Riverside Township, and Delanco Township and has won planning awards for projects in Ocean City and the Borough of Avalon.
Ms. Taylor also provides planning testimony for private clients and specializes in Use Variance Applications.
Prior to Taylor Design Group, Inc. Ms. Taylor was a sole proprietor, and was employed by Menlo Engineering Associates (1998-2000), Heyer Gruel & Associates (1997-1998), Greenberg Farrow Architecture (1994-1997), Deptford Township (1990-1994), and Eastampton Township (1990). Her internships included the Arlington County, Virginia, Department of Community Development (1989), Joseph L. Lomax & Associates (1987-1988), and Hatch, Mott, McDonald (1989) (formerly Killam Associates).
Ms. Taylor received a BS in Environmental Planning from Rutgers University in 1990. She is currently enrolled at the Form-Based Codes Institute.

Cheryl Bergailo, PP, AICP
Ms. Bergailo is a Senior Planner with the firm, and has been a practicing professional planner since 1993. Her expertise includes redevelopment planning, COAH consulting, land use planning and development impact assessment. Ms. Bergailo has represented the firm in Wall Township, Fair Lawn Borough, Edgewater Park Township and Riverside Township, which includes development review, representation of municipal boards, COAH/affordable housing planning, master planning, redevelopment planning, State Plan cross acceptance, litigation services and ordinance preparation.
Prior to joining the firm in January 2006, Ms. Bergailo was a Project Manager at Schoor DePalma, Inc. (2001-2005); Township Planner for Hillsborough Township (2000-2001); Senior Planner at Heyer, Gruel & Associates, PA (1997-2000); and Environmental Planner at The RBA Group (1993-1997). She received a Master of City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University (1998), and also obtained a B.S. (cum laude) in Environmental Planning and Design from Rutgers University (1992). She is currently enrolled at the Form-Based Codes Institute.
Amy Cieslewicz, CLA, RLA, ASLA
Ms. Cieslewicz is a Senior Landscape Architect and has over 20 years varied experience as a Landscape Architect. She specializes in municipal land development review, site design and land planning.
Most recently, Ms. Cieslewicz was principal of her own private practice, Amy Bridges Cieslewicz, LLC, where she has served as the Planning Board consultant for Moorestown Township, New Jersey for over 13 years. Ms. Cieslewicz was Principal Landscape Architect and Assistant Section Chief for the Montgomery County Planning Commission from 1987-1992; prior to that she worked for several private practices in the land development field. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and is active in community and environmental advocacy.
Kevin Costello, CLA
Mr. Costello is Senior Landscape Architect with over 22 years of varied experience and specializes in municipal land development review and site inspection.
Prior to joining TDG in 2007 Mr. Costello
Mr. Costello received a B.S. (with honors) in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University in 1986.
Neil Werket, ASLA
Mr. Werket has 4+ years of experience as a Landscape Architect and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Environmental Design(2003). Prior to being hired on at Taylor Design Group in 2007, Neil worked as an assistant project manager for Everland Shourds & Associates, where he managed large scale mixed use planning projects, residential subdivisions, private residential design & site plans.
Mr. Werket is currently studying to become a Registered and a Certified Landscape Architect.
